Manufacturing technology, built from the production floor.
Practical manufacturing technology built around real production problems — CNC production, inspection and CMM workflows, process knowledge, operator decisions, and the manufacturing data that connects them.
A lot of production problems live in the gaps between the people and systems that should be talking to each other.
Some production problems come from the space between inspection, machines, operators, process knowledge, quality, and data — where information gets lost, re-entered, or forgotten between shifts. That’s not the cause of every manufacturing problem, but it’s often where the understanding has to start.
The starting point is always the same: understand the actual process before proposing any technology.
Start with the process, not the product.
This is an emerging service approach: understand a real production problem first, then decide whether technology is actually the right answer. Sometimes it is. Sometimes the better fix is a process change, not more software.
Spend time with the actual process, not a description of it.
Learn how inspection, operators, machines, and data currently interact.
Find the specific, repeatable problem worth solving.
Build a contained solution or pilot sized to the actual problem.
Check whether it actually helped, on the shop floor.
Refine it, or productize the pattern where it makes sense.
The goal is not to force a prebuilt AI or software product into every operation. Technology may not be the answer to every problem — and part of the assessment is being honest about that.
Precision Offset Helper™
Inspection results become operator guidance.
Precision Offset Helper evaluates CMM results against approved process rules, identifies what needs attention, and presents deterministic guidance with relevant shop knowledge before an adjustment is made.

CMM / Inspection Results
Measured data from an in-process or final inspection.
Approved Process Logic
Deterministic, rules-based logic reviewed and approved for the process.
Operator Guidance
Clear, specific guidance presented to the operator.
Principles
- Deterministic, rules-based logic — not a model guessing at an answer
- Human-in-the-loop — the operator reviews and applies the guidance
- Built for process consistency across parts and shifts
- The operator remains in control of the machine at all times
Precision Offset Helper does not make autonomous machining decisions or control the CNC directly. It presents deterministic, rules-based guidance; the operator reviews it and decides what to do.
S.P.A.R.K.
SPARK connects manufacturing knowledge, process history, and current production context so operators and engineers can understand what is happening, what changed, and what information matters.
Current manufacturing state summarized from actual process evidence.
Deterministic detection of developing process conditions.
Questions answered from manufacturing documents, approved shop knowledge, and process history.
Trace available manufacturing context back to an individual serial where supporting data exists.
Measurements, offsets, tooling events, shifts, and related production history.
AI-assisted knowledge retrieval while deterministic machining decisions remain isolated from the AI layer.
Process Context, In Practice

SPARK is an active platform in real production use — these capabilities are not all equally mature yet, and none of this implies a specific security certification.
A computer-vision inspection initiative, currently in development.
Visual inspection on a shop floor is often manual and can vary from person to person, or shift to shift. SPARK Vision is exploring repeatable visual inspection and ways to reduce that subjectivity in production settings.
Production problems worth investigating.
This work started on the production floor, not in a search for somewhere to apply AI.
Precision Offset Helper and SPARK come out of hands-on CNC production experience — time spent seeing firsthand how inspection, tooling, operators, process knowledge, and production requirements actually interact on a shop floor.
The starting point has always been a real production problem, not a piece of technology looking for a use case. That’s the approach behind everything on this page.
Show me the process.
If your production operation has a repetitive problem involving inspection, decisions, information, knowledge, or workflow — start with a conversation. No pitch, no assumption that software is the answer.
